What is an LMFT?
An LMFT is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, which means I am a relationship therapist. I help all kinds of folks explore, understand and deepen all of their relationships, including their relationship to self and others.
Can I bring my baby to therapy?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your pre-walking baby to therapy anytime.
Do you take insurance?
I currently do not accept insurance. However, many of my clients request an invoice for out-of-network reimbursement, which I am happy to provide for you on a monthly basis.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment is made at the time of service, by cash or credit card.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If for any reason you are unable to make your appointment and you cancel 48-hours or more in advance you will not be charged. If you cancel with less than 48-hours notice, you will be charged the full fee for your therapy session.
Do you offer home-visits, phone sessions or Skype sessions?
Yes! I am happy to provide home-visits for my perinatal clients and phone or Skype sessions for all of my clients. Please inquire for more information.
How long does therapy last?
In order for treatment to be effective, if is important to attend on a weekly basis, until a relationship is established and symptoms stabilize. I specialize in process-oriented therapy which takes time, dedication and patience.
